Infinite Resort: The Earth Day campaign, shot in Red Sands Desert

Infinite Resort is a creative studio founded by me, dedicated to connecting nature and humanity by producing innovative projects.

The studio launched with a capsule collection in collaboration with four National Geographic photographers. Four dresses portrayed each element — Earth, Air, Fire, Water — and was shot in my hometown on the border of El Paso-Cd. Juárez.

The dresses were made of recycled plastic and told a story of each location, taking the audience around the world.

I concepted the project from start to finish which included researching conservation archives, negotiations, designing and producing the collection, as well as returning to my hometown to shoot the campaign.

I worked with local talent from both sides of the border, producing a photoshoot and video in my childhood desert where illegal off-roading takes place. The campaign shows a crew of goddesses, taking on the role typical of males in this subculture. Riding rugged off-road vehicles in the delicate dresses, I wanted to portray the duality of feminism and nature, while bringing my audience to a place most only see in the news for perilous headlines.

The project received press from Vogue to Vice Mexico.

Border culture highlights.

Complimenting the campaign were custom locally made ranchero boots, an Infinite Resort logo tee, and dirt bikers wearing the recycled tie dye “Earth Day is Everyday” graphic hoodie. The photoshoot reflected the diversity of the border where cultures of Mexico and Far West Texas merge to create this off-roading mecca.
